Timberwolves Drop Final Contest At Beach

The Timberwolves offense couldn't keep up with the Lazers as they fell 10 to 3 on the final day before leaving the sunny confines of Myrtle Beach.

Starting pitcher, Ben Marsh couldn't find the form that he had in his first game as he walked 4 batters and gave up 8 hits en route to 7 earned runs and the loss. Cody Seaver relieved him and pitched extremely well in his 3 innings of work. He gave up no earned runs on 4 hits and 2 hit batters while striking out 2 Lazers.

Matt Zita was seeing the ball well as he crushed 2 doubles and scored a run. Greg Johnson drove in 2 runs to lead the team in RBI and Brent McGhee went 1 for 2 with an RBI and a walk.

The Timberwolves next play a double header with Cecil College on March 16th.
