SUNY Adirondack Falls to Genesee in RussMatt Classic
— SUNY Adirondack dropped a 13-3 decision to Genesee Community College during RussMatt Classic action in Florida.
The Wolves struggled defensively throughout the contest, committing five errors that proved costly and allowed Genesee to capitalize on extra opportunities. Adirondack found it difficult to recover from those miscues as Genesee steadily built its lead.
Offensively, SUNY Adirondack was led by RBIs from Louis Betit and Lucas Crystal, who each contributed to the Wolves' scoring efforts. Despite some flashes at the plate, Adirondack was unable to string together enough offense to keep pace.
Peter Baltis got the start on the mound for the Wolves, battling against a tough Genesee lineup.
SUNY Adirondack will look to regroup as play continues in the RussMatt Classic.
