Mason MacDougall Opens National Championship with Top-20 Round
JAMESTOWN, N.Y. —
SUNY Adirondack golfer Mason MacDougall turned in an impressive opening round at the NJCAA Golf National Championship on Tuesday, carding a 77 at Chautauqua Golf Club to place himself inside the Top 20 nationally after Day One of competition.
Competing against many of the top junior college golfers in the country, MacDougall battled through challenging conditions and a highly competitive field to position himself among the tournament's early leaders.
The national championship tournament continues throughout the week at Chautauqua Golf Club in Jamestown, New York.
