SUNY Adirondack Welcomes Jessica Trudeau-Signorelli as Head Women's Volleyball Coach
QUEENSBURY, N.Y. — SUNY Adirondack Athletics has announced the hiring of Jessica Trudeau-Signorelli as the next Head Women's Volleyball Coach, welcoming back one of the program's own to lead the Timberwolves into a new era.
Trudeau-Signorelli returns to SUNY Adirondack with an impressive blend of collegiate coaching experience, program leadership, and a deep connection to Timberwolves Volleyball as both a former student-athlete and assistant coach.
A standout player for the Timberwolves during the 2015 and 2016 seasons, Trudeau-Signorelli earned Mountain Valley All-Conference honors and was named the team's Most Valuable Player in 2016. During her two-year career, she totaled 368 kills, 369 digs, and 67 service aces while finishing among the NJCAA leaders in kills and points per set.
Following her playing career, Trudeau-Signorelli joined the SUNY Adirondack coaching staff as an assistant coach from 2017-19. During that span, the Timberwolves compiled a 51-31 overall record as she played an integral role in recruiting, practice planning, fundraising, strength and conditioning, and the day-to-day development of the program.
She returns to Queensbury after serving four seasons as the Head Women's Volleyball Coach at Vermont State University Castleton, where she also held roles as Fitness Director and Adjunct Professor. Under her leadership, the Spartans steadily improved, culminating in a 13-14 record during the 2025 season—the program's best overall finish since 2015—and the team's first-ever Little East Conference victory.
During her tenure at Castleton, the Spartans established new single-season program records in kills, assists, digs, and points while Trudeau-Signorelli coached the program's all-time career leader in assists. Her leadership helped elevate the competitiveness of the program while emphasizing student-athlete development both on and off the court.
In addition to her collegiate coaching experience, Trudeau-Signorelli has spent several years coaching throughout the Capital Region club volleyball scene with Spa City Volleyball Club, Lakeside Volleyball Club, and Adirondack Volleyball Club, helping develop athletes at multiple levels of competition.
A proud SUNY Adirondack alumna, Trudeau-Signorelli earned an Associate's Degree in Graphic Arts from SUNY Adirondack before completing a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education and a Master's Degree in Athletic Leadership from Castleton University, graduating with a 3.9 GPA.
Trudeau-Signorelli returns to the institution where both her playing and coaching careers began with a vision of building a program centered on hard work, accountability, and the holistic development of student-athletes. Her familiarity with SUNY Adirondack, combined with her collegiate coaching experience and strong regional recruiting connections, positions the Timberwolves volleyball program for continued growth and success.
SUNY Adirondack Athletics welcomes Jessica Trudeau-Signorelli and her family back to the Timberwolves community and looks forward to the future of the women's volleyball program under her leadership.
